A fit of inspiration struck me today, and I whipped up this layout. You can’t go wrong with cow-based layouts.
EDIT: As usual, I’m not bothering to test this in Internet Explorer. Seeing as it uses transparent .pngs, I already know it will be b0rked in IE. Tough crap!

As anti-advertising as I usually am, I think that ExplorerDestroyer is for a very good cause. Anything that gets people to stop using IE is my friend. Also this looks nicer than the script I was using.

So I said screw it, and downloaded a theme. It’s just too much work to get everything all customized. In particular, setting up Gallery2’s embedded mode is like slowly being tortured to death.

I’m upgrading the Gallery, so things may be going crazy for a couple minutes. (Or longer.)

I added some PHP to the index page so that if you look at my site in Internet Explorer, it shows an IE logo on fire and a nagging message to upgrade to Firefox. Feel free to give it a try, if you are stuck in Windows.

All done with the layout change. I’m getting good at this, it only took me one evening to do it.
I’m thinking of getting back into FVWM again. Argh. It’s such a time-sink, but I feel a need to exercise my geek muscles.

One of the main purposes of this website is to let me have an outlet for my constant tendency to toy with web design. I’ve come to accept that fact. Nothing wrong with that right?

I’ve changed the layout (AGAIN). I also fixed a bunch of bugs, because Wordpress likes interpolating \\ characters rather than escaping them. Bleh.
Gotta get the Gallery looking good now.
