xorg.conf

I uploaded my xorg.conf only because if I ever need to install Xorg again, I'm going to need this, and this serves as a good backup. Particularly the ModeLines for my 20 inch Apple widescreen monitor take forever to track down.

    btw, do you use evdev to get extra functionality from your input devices? For some reason the newest version in the Ubuntu repos breaks Xorg for me, so I'm using an older version.

    I've never heard of evdev. Google says it's some kind of USB device manager. Seems interesting. I wonder if it'd make my Wacom tablet work better.

    Yeah, it's the only way I can get the side buttons on my mouse recognized.

    Have you read this? http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Advanced_Mouse It's Gentoo-specific in certain ways, but Gentoo wiki is always a helpful source of info.
