http://www.godisimaginary.com is a great site. Some of the stuff there is of dubious logical soundness, but some is good and it's an entertaining read. I recommend Proof #14.

That “Proof #14″ article stated that because God doesn't very precisely prove himself, he doesn't exist. How is that logical? God could very well exist, yet simply choose not to proove himself to the world. And if he does exist and chooses NOT to prove himself, then what are you going to do about it? Not believe? Well, that wouldn't change the fact that he indeed does exist. So, according to the Bible, you would die not believing (because you never received proof) and you'd end up in front of God and you'd be eternally fucked.

Furthermore, the Bible does say you have to have faith to believe in God and to go to heaven so if God were to perform all kinds of miracles and prove himself to you, then how is that going to require your faith? This does seem pretty convenient for God, doesn't it? Bible is telling everyone that he does exist and to believe in him and to follow the commandments, but then says you have to have faith to believe. Just seems like an easy way out, I agree, but that fact still doesn't prove that he DOESN'T exist.

At this point, I don't believe God does/doesn't exist. I am agnostic. But I think people trying to prove he doesn't exist all the time is stupid because it really can't be done (especially with stupid shit like, “he doesn't prove himself therefore he isn't!”).

It's not so much a matter of proof, as a matter of making the best guess you can (albeit a reasoned guess). You can ask the question “If God exists, what would we expect to find?” And then see if you find that. If you do find it, it's not PROOF God exists. If you don't find it, it's not PROOF God doesn't exist. But it's evidence, and it can be weighed against all other evidence, and you can arrive at a reasoned and educated conclusion. So I don't like the word “proof”. Science is not about proof. The site is of dubious logical soundness, yes. But it's entertaining.
